Newcastle’s music and nightlife scene is full of potential — but for too long, it’s been dominated by the same sounds and the same faces. We saw a need for something different: a space for fresh voices, original energy, and crowd-led direction.
Fancy Lemon Records was born out of frustration and love — frustration with the lack of variety, and love for the local talent going unheard.
